The O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission has a
membership that includes 27 municipalities and over
40 communities surrounding O’Hare.
ONCC operates three standing committees: the
Residential Sound Insulation, the School Sound
Insulation and the Technical Committee.
The two sound insulation committees oversee
the very successful noise mitigation programs, some
of the largest in the nation.
